Insurance Inspections
Every home that requires homeowners insurance in Florida will need a Wind Mitigation, a Four point is normally required for a home 30 years or older. We highly recommend that you consult with your insurance agent. A Wind Mitigation is an inspection to verify window and door protection, how the roof is secured to the home. Also the years of built and re-roof. There is no pass or fail. Inspectors can only report on labels, documentation, and visual items to complete the form. A Four point covers the HVAC, Electrical Wiring and Panel, Plumbing, and Roof.  There is no pass or fail. The condition and age of items are noted. This is not a home inspection and should not be used as on.
