To Whom It May Concern:
The purchase of a new home is a very exciting and stressful time. It is very easy to overlook some of the important details associated with the condition of the perspective home. We are very pleased to have found Billings Home Inspections. Bill carefully walked us through the entire inspection process, pointing out existing and potential issues. Bill answered all our questions in terms we could understand. He reviewed the results of his findings with us and provided a detailed report binder that we can reference now, and in the future. Billings Home Inspections gave us the tools we needed to weigh all the pros and cons and make our decision based on the true condition of the home. We feel confident that we won't have expensive "surprises" after moving in.
Upon our final Walk Through, just before closing I notice a dent in our roof and broken roof tiles. I did not remember the damage and referred to my pictures supplied by Billings Home Inspections. The damage was new. I took a picture of the new dent with my digital and took it along with my home inspection pictures to closing. The sellers agent cut me a check at closing for the damage and agreed to pay any difference. I learned later that the sellers backed into the home with their moving van causing the damage.
Without the pictures supplied by Billings Home Inspections, I might have been liable for the damage. Thank you, Bill, for providing us with proof to help us in a sticky situation, for saving us money and helping us with one of the biggest decision in our lives. We highly recommend Billings Home Inspections to any potential home buyer.
